Jnana Prabodhini Kashmir Group

For the past two years Jnana prabodhini has conducted science quizzes for school children in Kashmir. They are held every year in the month of April. We have received extremely good response from the schools of the state on both the occasions. This year we are conducting this science festival as an extension of the yearly science program.

The aim of science exhibition is to encourage the scientific research perspective and to give scope to the free imagination of the children between the age group of 12-15 years, in our country. Though, science is taught in schools very few children get the chance to do practical experiments. Besides, there is no association between the practical life and the academic /bookish knowledge... Jnana Prabodhini is working exactly on this issue. The concept is- children should study the incidents of their day today life with a scientific approach and should find a conclusion by analyzing them.
