The proposed work is outcome of an heartfelt and emotional experience turned into a logical mission to achieve trust through interaction and development.

The interaction most of us have with the region of Jammu and Kashmir is prominently through news paper, TV channels, speeches of politicians, and liberalistic, secular or fanatical discussions among friends. This work is a small and simple step to extend this interaction beyond the superficial. The human connection, the link and the bond in a personal relation can go beyond regional, political, religious, linguistic, and any other barriers. The intent is to establish this communication between people of Kashmir and people living in the rest of India.

Trust cannot be achieved through fleeting interaction but needs sustainable and enduring efforts. A sustainable interaction intended for development can go leaps and bounds to achieve confidence amongst people.

The concept of starting computer centers/science clubs and youth club grew out of culmination of the three key goals of

• Development,
• Sustainable interaction
• Trust

The development can be achieved through computer literacy as well as by opening up different avenues and tools for starting and/or growing new businesses. The interaction will be established through providing the resources, study tours, friendly visits, increased communication using internet, and most importantly personal acquaintance. The sustainability of interaction is possible due to the numerous computer skills and application which can be learnt and taught starting from plugging and starting the PC to learning Microsoft Office applications, to DTP, to programming languages, to web development and many more. The long term personal interaction will build the bridge of confidence, trust and brotherhood between Kashmiri people and rest of India bringing down all kind of barriers.

Any long term work remains active if it is based on a well defined philosophy. The intended work is to achieve the following:

• Generate awareness in Kashmiris of future without army, militancy, terrorism
  The current scenario of  Kashmir restricts the vision of Kashmiri people revolving around a violent means of life. It is the intention of the work to create awareness about a normal life for every Kashmiri person.
• Communicate feelings of rest of India to Kashmiris
  Kashmiri people associate Indian civilian with Indian army and Indian government and hence mostly believe that Kashmir is just “a border issue” for rest of Indians. We will establish the caring and sharing environment to dissolve these fuzzy feelings.
• Realization in rest of India about the feelings of Kashmiris
  The rest of India, an average Indian civilian, is unaware of the “Indians do not care” feeling Kashmiris carry. Awareness of this is most critical in achieving success in this work.
• Initiate a bond between the two
  An active cadre of people from Kashmir and rest of India will be able to maintain a bond once the factual awareness is instigated in both. The work will serve as the link to maintain a consistent source of a bonding connection.
• Create opportunities to keep Kashmiris with the rest of the world
  The world is becoming flat due to advances in information sharing technology. The interaction will help to bring all the people on same plane.
• Fight against misconceptions about rest of Indian people and anti-Human sentiments created by selfish political agenda
  The misconceptions created by propagandas of politicians will be dealt only through actions of caring and sharing. The barriers of politically born notions will be answered through the ground work and developmental interaction.
• Work with a humanitarian and brotherly view with a NON-political agenda
  The intention of the work is to create a brotherhood between people of Kashmir and other Indian civilians. Considering the general motives of politicians and the lack of enthusiasm amongst them to care for the average people is same all over the world. Thus politicians and politics will not play any role in any way in any aspect of this work
